4. Consent
Kerr Financial Group’s processes surrounding consent are:
- to obtain valid consent for each specific purpose in a clear and simple manner, to separate this request from other information when it is written, and to provide all the information required by the Law to the person concerned;
- inform an individual when he or she is the subject of a decision based exclusively on automated processing;
- to inform an individual before using a technology to identify, locate, or profile them, and to provide information on the means available to activate these functions.
5. How Do We Collect and Process Personal Information?
We obtain the individuals’ consent before collecting personal information, whether collected directly, via cookies, or tracking technologies.
Only the data necessary to provide the services are collected, including identity information (name, social insurance number, date of birth, contact details) and professional or financial information (CV, bank details).
Data subjects are clearly informed about the use of their data and their rights.
6. What measures are in place to protect and retain personal information?
We have created an inventory of all personal data collected, processed or stored by Kerr Financial Group. We have identified data sources, data recipients and data storage locations.
The personal information inventory will be updated annually to anticipate the actions required to protect personal information and to meet all our regulatory obligations on an ongoing basis.
7. Access to Your Personal Information
Data subjects have several rights concerning their personal data: they may request access to their data, rectify it, or delete it in certain situations. They may also request that their data be provided in a machine-readable format, object to its processing for certain purposes, and file complaints about Kerr Financial Group’s handling of their personal information.

9. Process in the Event of a Privacy Breach
In the event of a privacy breach, Kerr Financial Group maintains a record of all such incidents and takes prompt action to reduce the risk of harm to the affected individuals and to prevent further incidents of a similar nature.
In addition, the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI) and the affected individuals are informed of any incident involving a serious risk of harm.
